any one use metal studding?

any one use metal studding?

i have not noticed anyone using metal studs, wondering why? lightweight, corosion resistant, easy to use...

...ther has been some concern about their lateral strength and the fact they aren't meant to be turned sideways...this threadhas some info...and a lotta BS

I started a steel framed tear using 1x1" sq tubing and 1"x1/8" flat. It needs sheet AL to strengthen the structure. I estimated the steel skeleton to weigh about 125lbs. It's setting in the garage, incomplete, waiting on money to finish it.
