Mike, they have worked out just fine...they are actually 2 pinned tubes..we hope to replace them with gas struts this week or next...we did the engineering with the hatch mounted but no skin so we could see "thru" the hatch while we did the mounting.

You got some great pic's of yur Gator Rig ... That rig sure shows off like a real kewl ride with built in well appointed comforts. Your design is pleasing to the eye. The details are fine... from doors, fenders galley and interior. Youre efforts and with the right web site and or exposure ..will hatch Gators for sure.
Both he and she will appreciate your clean design and it will show with some of the best out there.
