New in MD

[Lostsole]

Hi,

My name is Brian and I live in Baltimore, MD. I am in the early stages with Design and finding a suitable trailer.
I am trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible up front and add to it down the road. Looking at the HF
Heavy duty or Super duty 48" X 96" but I like the idea of a 60" wide. Hope to have my son and I in one by the
fall or the latest in the spring. Thanks ahead for the help.

Welcome to the forum from your neighbor in Essex. You're in for a fun ride and you are going to find that you are in good company here Maryland. Make sure you go over to the Tearjerkers site and check in with the Chesapeake Bay Chapter. They are a lively group and are always cooking up something fun to do. Depending on how soon you plan to be campable there are two gatherings this fall, Jane's Island in late September and Pocomoke in October. Even if you don't have a teardrop by then, bring a tent, or whatever and join the group. I attended my first gathering as a guest before I had started my teardrop they welcomed me with open arms and were extremely supportive of me, as was everyone on this site, the whole time I was building.

There are a lot of really fine, kind, supportive, knowledgeable and experienced people on this site. There is also a wealth of information in the build journals and other threads on this site. If you do a search on almost any subject pertaining to the process you will find lots of information, and if you don't then just ask and you will be sure to get a lot of answers.
