I'm carpeting the interior walls of my build and thinking about using them as interior lighting. stick a tab of Velcro on the back and stick them anywhere I want. They a little swing-out hanger hook on the back so they could be hung easily too.
I'n going to use them and play with them until I'm ready to begin wiring. Then I'll know if they'll work for me or not.
They're even bright enough to work as my outside lights, with a tab of velcro on the outside, next to the doors.

After playing with these a little, I noticed how they project a beam, like a flashlight. I think I'll look for some kind of difuser to go ove the lens to help spread the light more evenly....Back with more later, as I continue to experiment.
It aint' the gettin' there,

Just spend 30 on led rope light and string around the top. Perfect for reading no heat and extreme low power draw.

Spent $14 on 3 1ft LED strip lights. You can attach all 3 together or run them individually. I'm putting one as a stove light and the other 2 as counter lights.
Dadgum it! I cut that board 5 times and it's still too short!

Most led's come from China. I got ours direct from China via eBite. At $25 shipped for two 18 footers , I didn't expect much light but they were very very bright. I put one on the wall under our rolled up awning on the motorhome and saved the other for the new 7 x 16 CT we ordered. You can easily read and my wife can knit, wether the awning is up or down.
I replaced all the 12V Bulbs on our motorcycle, car, and motorhome with led's from eBay. Some were not brighter than incandescents but all still work and were worth the money.
