Hey thanks guys! This is a joint project for the hubby and me. We get along pretty good after almost 25 years, but it seems we get along best when we have a project to do together.

We help each other. I was bought up as my Dad's gopher. Guess I've always been a rodent of some sort. The husbands parents were divorced when he was only 8 so he's had to learn it all on his own as far as wood working tools and such.

The cat...well Ted is just happy to be where ever we are!

Oh and I just love my floor! It's those industrial vinyl chip squares. I've got floor polish on them but I'd love to get a nice thick coat on it. Does anyone know what businesses use?

You don't want a thick coat. It will be sticky. Those look like Armstrong VCT. There are 2 Items you would need. You need a sealer & polish. Check out these instructions on the bottom of page 2.

The only problem I see is it come in gallons only. You would need a pint to do you floor.

If you have a cleaning supply store around they may sell something similar in quarts.

If you can not find the sealer & polish in smaller quantities, you can also use Armstrong Shinekeeper. It is used on their residential products. You would want to apply 3-4 thin coats with a lambs wool applicator.
