Welcome (the) Hunter to the forums.

You can go all square (ish) if you like. There is a few here that way.

This one. Low cost materials. Simple corners, salvaged door and hatches off RV to save cost. He just finished it and it work out well for him and the family.

Another one is this one. Although no build log he did post picture to tease us when he finished. This one has a slide out shelf unit for adding more room without taking away your inside space.

and a few shots of the inside of this camper and slideout.

Put together is 40 day! This gives him more days in the year to go camping. Again a lot of scrounged up parts to keep cost down.

This one is more of a toy hauler and small box style camper. Still a work in progress and it keeps changing all the time Fun to watch build.

My all time favorite of what is called a Rockhopper style is this one.

While the Hopper style was designed to get rid of the harder to make rounder shape. and to use one sheet of plywood for the sides you can make it bigger. The Hopper and Weekender both have these designed trates. Good choices for an easier build.

Hope this helps and Have fun
