Teardrop number 2!

Postby webbaldo » Tue Jul 30, 2013 7:30 am

Well after only camping once in our teardrop, I was offered £4000 for mine! ($6100 ish) so I agreed. Yes some people may call it madness, but for me its a chance to build another! and improve on a few ideas, lessons learnt. Plus (minus man hours) a very large profit to fund a classic VW Bug purchase

Next will be the same kitchen/teardrop shape but different inside altogether

And this time the head scratching part is removed, so hoping build time will be improved.

Anyway heres a farewell shot!

Congrats on the sale. I had an Aunt that always said "you'll make it better the second time" . This was after my cousin, (her son) had destroyed something I built. But the same can be said for Teardrops!

Webbaldo,

That was quick, a dollar is a dollar, if the offer is there you may as well grab it and run.
Never had an offer for our Tear but have had a few that wanted us to build one for them.
Congrats anyway, it will be interesting to see what the next one looks like.
Keep us posted as the build progresses.

Take it easy.

RD :)
