You're bringing Herbie, right? I'll have to restrain Liz from stealing him! We will be bringing our Shaila as well, she had such a good time last year although I think she got a little jealous of all the attention Herbie received!

Slow, this is the greeny from Colorado. All thought I said I was 80% done when I signed up in June, it has taken longer than I thought to finish "Cutthroat Tracker. I will finish this week as I have an appointment to get it inspected on 7/27. Sorry work and other thing are distracting you from the gathering. Hope we can still wet a line, maybe sunday morning. I will just have to catch a couple of Cutthroats on my own. Not sure about trying for the Wyoming slam, but a friend of mine told me about a spot to catch Bonniville Cutthroats over by the Idaho border and I may try that on the way back to Colorado. Should arrive late Thursday or Friday. This will not be my maden voyage but will be the farthest I have traveled in the teardrop. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the grang.

Bill Daley

P.S. Why did I get rid of that old Coleman lantern all those years ago, now I am going to have to find another, and probably pay an arm and a leg for it.

Slow, put me down as a definite maybe as I will probably skip Burning Man this year. As I am missing Burning Man is the gathering "Clothing optional"? Or extreme self expression.

Hey Will! Just spent the last 4 days with Paul A. and Joe B. at the Crossroads of America Gathering in Indiana. We had a great time and spent lots of time talking about our trip out to Wyoming and Walk the Winds last year. We are planning another trip together next year. Hope you all have a successful gathering. It's a beautiful place!

Mike, there is not much to do to check in to the site. If the gate to the group site is not open, you need to go down and find the camp host. If you get a copy of your reservation to Will, that could help if there is a paperwork issue with the Ranger. Have a great time all. Wish I could be there.

Thinking about joining you for Walk the Winds...not quite 100% sure, though.
We want to make the trip there and back from central Colorado "interesting" avoiding all interstates but on relatively good road. Does anybody know about the road out of Maybell, CO up into Wyoming? CO 318W then county rd 10 N then wyoming 430N. Paved all the way? sections not paved? Thanks! Has anyone ever overnighted at Maybell Park.

The internet is great, until you count on your research and end up really off the track. First hand accounts are better.

Thanks!

anyone feel like recapping the folks who are coming - I can't make heads or tails of this big long thread. 15 trailers? where from?

There is plenty of room. We had 19 trailers last year with a lot of room to spare. You will be fine.
