Similar. But my legs are 1" square tube hinged in "pockets" so to speak. They fold down or fold flat, and have a spring loaded button that holds them in either place. I'll try to get some pics of that mechanism.

That's ok, it's appreciated but different years or manufacturers probably have different styles of mechanisms.
Besides at $600. a pop that's a tad pricey. Will have to explore the 2X4 approach ...

Got the awning installed !!
I ordered new fabric for it, before installing it.. Used it about 4 days straight this past weekend while on vacation..
All I can say is: Awesome !

I ordered the roller thing.. I had just not installed it when I snapped the pic.. The roller is definitely a life-saver.. I am also going to order one of the center supports that "holds the awning up" when rolled in.

Keep checking craigslist-there was the same type sofa for $50.00 in our area yesterday.
