Getting Started

Hello all,
I just joined this forum, well it's obvious, and I will start building my TT. Looking at a bunch of online plans and all I've got is a 5x8 trailer with a plywood floor. That's as far as I've gotten with my TT. To begin I live in Delaware and I am an Industrial Mechanic. I've build a few things from lawn furniture to a 12 x 16 barn. Since it's the Mrs. and me now I would to camp in a bit more style. Well tents and inflatable mattresses are a little pain, especially on the back. I've seen a few pop ups and I prefer something with solid sides. Any way, I think the bed might snap off and bust my... When I build the TT I think it'll be all 120V. Well guys, wish me luck and I'll be doing a lot of reading in this forum or asking a lot of questions.

Carlos, welcome to the forum. You are on the right track, planning to get involved in teardrop construction and camping. Many of us have been in the same boat you are right now, and have gotten tons of info on this board, to help us with our building of a campable teardrop trailer that suits our needs. Good luck on your build..........take pics and post 'em.

Thank you Roly. I did see your pics and I am impressed. I will post my pics as I build it. Right now the trailer is buried underneath all my camping gear since I just got back from camping last week. Need to clean it off and start. Not too much time to work on it cause I've been working 7 days a week and some days up to 16 hours. But I see it this way... now I can buy those fancy doors and extras with the overtime money. I'll be ordering my doors this week. The fancy ones with the smoke glass and a screened vent window. Well guys I finally got this build going. Undercoated the trailer and got my walls up. Did the openings for the door and the window. Going to start on the cabinets inside the cabin this week.
