I'm brand new to this forum. I just discovered (and became enamoured with) teardrops a few months ago. My husband and I are renting one for a long weekend in September. I'm looking forward to trying it out!
My parents were big RV-ers when I was growing up. Over the years, we had a pop-up tent trailer, a truck camper, a camper van (which my Dad built - one for him and for a neighbour), two class C motorhomes (which my Dad hand-built), and finally my parents bought a class C. We camped in provincial campgrounds and stealth-camped all over North America. Back then, I pretended to hate it, but I secretly loved it!
My older brother and sister now have fifth-wheel trailers. I like the idea of RV camping, but I've been finding it hard to justify the environmental impact. That's when I discovered teardrops and other tiny trailers and I feel like they are just perfect! I also love the idea of tiny homes (and I'm trying to convince my husband that we should downsize), so I think this is another reason why the teardrops really appeal to me. Can you tell I'm excited to try it out?

I'm glad to have discovered this forum. I'm looking forward to sharing stories and ideas and participating in whatever else goes on around here!
