We headed out Thursday morning and after about 5 hours we pulled into New Fork Lake Group Campground North of Pinedale, WY. This campground is a nice change from the places we normally camp. The first thing we noticed is that it's a few miles from the main road and there weren't NO ATV's so it was nice and quiet.

As soon as we pulled into camp we started making friends. It was like "Hey there ... Welcome to the teardrop family". Everyone we met was really nice and very helpful. One of the big draws to Walk the Winds for us is that there isn't a tight schedule of events. The main events were the pot luck dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Other than that we all had time to just relax and have a great time enjoying the outdoors. It was really great to meet some of the people we had been chatting with on TNTTT. Everyone there was happy to show us there trailers and give us helpful hints and ideas. Wolf Farmer (Randy) was there with a wealth of knowledge about Coleman lanterns and stoves. Ryan explained how he used a model airplane Watt Meter to monitor his battery. Will and Carl with their ideas for hatch supports that can handle the Wyoming winds. Ron and Pam showed us how they modified a regular tent into a snap on side room. They had also turned a tarp into a nifty awning. We even got to meet the "Legendary" Grant Whipp (sorry Kay. I just couldn't resist

A special thanks to Mike for hosting Walk the Winds. We had a great time and are looking forward to being there next year.
