this posting has been a big help to me, and I have yet another quick question - I am trying to figure out what size Stabilizers to order for the trailer, choice is 11 - 15" or 15 to 21".

Nowhere do they say what the height of the trailer is. I was hoping you could tell me which jacks you ordered.

Not sure what brand you are looking at, but mine are Atwood and there are a lot of them on Ebay. They all show a range of about 11" - 17" and that is what mine are. My NT 5X8 trailer clearance is 16.5" at the rear frame channel. I use wood blocks under the feet to give me a little more range and to keep them clean. I bolted mine to the rear cross channel and in line with the channel so the feet extend out beyond the side frame when fully extended. I only installed two at the rear and I use the TV hitch or a jack stand on the front. That keeps it plenty stable even when we are moving around inside. Like everything else on this forum, there are a lot of very different opinions about how many and what configuration to use for these stabilizer jacks so you need to do some homework and decide for yourself.

I have been looking at the Atwood. Really just needed the ground clearance, thanks for the quick response. I will use the same type of config, 2 stabilizers in the back and the wheel jack in the front.

Bought router bits and rough cut the plywood sides so I am off and running!. I'll order my NT when I get back. They were on sale a month ago but I didn't buy one, should have :x
