GPW,

There's an Asian buffet across from the HF I shop at too! Coincidence or by design?

Anyway. We've been on this low carb diet do so long that I'm planning a trip to HF this weekend and hanging out at the buffet until they ask me to leave.

Love the night sky painting.

Take care,
Tom

I hope their food is of higher quality than the tools at HF.

Not wanting to start a flame war about HF. I buy a lot of stuff there. And the quality is getting better in many things.

Randy , I figured I couldn’t go wrong with some cheap Cargo nets , eh ???

I never buy anything from HF that isn’t considered “disposable” after the intended job ... that trailer the exception ... :o And after seeing how quickly the paint faded , I’m not so sure about that ...

aggie79-There's an Asian café across the parking lot from the HF I go to also, on Trail Lake. Might be the same. Only difference is that when I go to HF, I've already bought enough Chinese already! haha

I'm lost. Where's the connection between gourmet food and heat lamp warming tray Chinese food? :? :frightened:

Don't get me wrong, I like Chinese food... good Chinese food, that is.

Guess I better add this to my sig line:

I could have gone to my favorite Sushi Bar and spent 40 bucks ... but just made do for $6.95 ... Gotta’ save everything I can for the FS and it’s possible usage within the next 3 weeks ... Evac is expensive!!! ... There is always a LOT of price gouging going on when people are in need ... sad but True !!! During Katrina EVAC we spent a small FORTUNE helping others , that didn’t appreciate it ... Why we have a Trailer now !!! ;)

K, I just cancelled my order with Utrecht ... another month is just too long to wait  .... Dick Blick has it but it’s not nearly as thick as the .120 “ that Utrecht had , or didn’t have ...

Now after looking around , I can’t seem to find any thick chipboard anywhere in the large sizes ... may have to resort to using something else .... maybe a thin paneling ??? I dunno ??? :? Guess there’s always 1/8” masonite ...

Looking up at the shelf in the Studio I spotted a big pile of fan fold foam (from foamie’ model plane building) ... 1/4” thick 24” X 48” ... :o Now if I used that and laminate some thin chipboard or even the heavy Kraft paper I already have to it , it should be Strong enough .. a "thrifty alternative" , right under my nose all the time ... And in keeping with Foamie’ practices ... 8)

At least the chip board is not critical for the intended use.

Undercoating the trailer with the black Nasty stuff ... not a job we’re particularly fond of ... :R going slow ... can in the sun and all , still Lots of area to cover... :o Spraying the undercoating on would have been a LOT easier , though Much more Expensive ...
