Newbie from the San Francisco Bay Area

Hi all,
My name is John van den Heuvel. My wife and I are from the Netherlands originally. We moved from Texas to the Bay Area two years ago. We had our first Teardrop encounter in a museum in Portland, Oregon last year and said to each other: what a great idea! Although we've seen many small travel trailers and campers, we still haven't bumped into a Teardrop 'in the wild' yet. However, I noticed there's going to be a teardrop meeting on Treasure Island mid October, and if I'm around, I will definitely go visit. I love woodworking and we're lucky to have a garage with our house. I just started cutting the Teardrop side walls last week. So there's no going back now....
