New member in Maine

Greetings,

Thanks everyone for creating such a great forum. I have gotten myself a HF 1720 and I plan to begin construction next week of a 5x10 modified benroy. I have to keep the weight down- my TV is an infinity g20 (4 cyl) with 1000 lb tow limit. Once I get the frame together I will post pics on the regular, and I am sure that they will all be accompanied by questions and requests for opinions.

There are so many awesome trailers in this forum, thank you for the inspiration. So much to think about.

As a fellow tiny trailer owner towing with a 4 cylinder I can say you'll have a lot of fun! A lot of my friends didn't think it would be possible to tow with my Integra but The Glampette weighs 554 lbs dry so the car has had no problems even through some pretty big passes on I-80, I-90, and I-5.

welcome. if you have not joined the Tearjerkers.net group you should. We just had a gathering in Milton, NH and we had a blast. Built my first teardrop a few years back and had a blast doing it.
