Been pretty wet around here the past few weeks also. Not that kind of wet though. A storm came over my house yesterday and hailed. Ruined some plums and apples. Hay growers have a bunch of 3rd crop hay down and it is not looking good. Have seen some bales they made that looked pretty black.

I'm not worried about me. I'm on the east coast. I was just a little concerned about the people who were killed and their families; all the people who lost their homes and belongs; the people who have family there and hadn't heard from them.

It was disastrous for many people.

There was a guy trapped in his car upside down in a washed out ravine with mud laden water rapids... and the fire rescues guys got in a little inflatable canoe like boat, risked their lives in no small feat of bravery to save the guy.

Slow, this was not an every day occurrence. What amounted to some rain for you was the gully washer of all gully washers for a lot of people.

You started this thread about the weather. I was specifically referring to the deadly, destructive and devastating flooding along the front range of Northern Colorado including the cities of Boulder, Longmont, Lyons, Greeley and Fort Collins. Very tragic.

Probably not his fault. I'm sure he has just been too busy to see the news of how bad it really was. I hadn't paid any attention to it until it affected me in a very small way and I got curious. I don't generally watch the news because it is almost always bad/depressing.

Slow, why is it that you open your mouth, stick both feet in down to the tonsils, and then make remarks like this. You either start thinking before you type or don't type at all. Last warning my friend.

The lowest average annual rainfall anywhere in Wyoming is in Big Piney at 6.48 inches. In Pavillion the average annual rainfall is 9.43 inches.

:? First our prayers go out to the families effected by the floods in Colorado. I hope they find the missing people safe and sound. :worship:

Second keep it clean. No reason to get upset. If ya don't like the way someone posts don't answer. Simple and hit the button on the friend or foe. It works.

If you click on the persons name under their avatar you will find it about halfway down. It says Friend
Foe
You will no longer see posts by foe. I think  :NC
