We are home!
Wow, what a trip!
On the first day we made the wrong direction choice for the trip home, and experiences record rainfall most of the day. High winds, came very close to the Tornado, trees on the road, darkness and too much traffic.
Second day we change our first route choice and headed for a lower pass as we heard the snow level was down to 5000 ft. Well the pass we crossed had a summit of 4025 ft. and the snow level was at about 4050 ft. as we passed thru.
But about 2 miles down the other side the rain stopped and the sun shown thru the blue skies over the Okanagan Valley....it was back to T shirt weather for the rest of the trip home.
The camping gear was hung out to dry this morning in the sun and Miss Piggy got a good airing out. (She loves to sit out enjoying the Sun!
Once again, Thanks to all those who organized such a fun event.
