I had a thought but it might be a bit to much.
I this forum were to become a nonprofit org. Which I guess means books would need to be kept and a board would need to be made.
the idea is that it would then might become more available for histoy grants.
This all came about because of the teardrop trailer in use scence the 1930's and the grant mony might pay for this forum.

Hey Ron,
I being a CPA, I am very familiar with Non-Profit Organizations. I see no problem if certain members wanted to form a Non-Profit Organization.
But not for this forum. This forum is just for fun and sharing information.
There are a lot of up front costs to forming a Non-Profit Organization. After it is formed, it is highly regulated in the form of reporting activities and maintaining books, records, minutes and etc. and etc.
Just my two cents worth. If some members are interested fine, but not for the forum.
