Hi Guys,
Here's the roster, sure filled up fast, only two sites left! We might be able to muster one more powered spot if needed (#6 is a doublewide).
Site #1 is non-powered and good for a teardrop or big camper, it's a deep slot so you wouldn't need to unhook
Site #9 is non-powered and good for a tent or teardrop, it's a deep slot so you wouldn't need to unhook
Site 0 The BIG trailer – 2bits – The Chalet
Site 1 (Dry Camp in the easement in the front)
Site 2 M C Toyer – MC – Log Cabin Trailer
Site 3 Highlander - Scott & Gerri - Texas Trailer
Site 4 Caseydog – Glenn/CD – The Deuce
Site 5 DaveL – Dave & Cindy – The Up and Down
Site 6 StepNFetchit - Mary & Tim
Site 7 Starleen2 – Scott – Texas Camper
Site 8 (Dry Camp in the Cedars in the back)
Site 9 (Dry Camp in the Cedars in the back)
After conversations this past weekend at the Dinosaur Valley gathering, I have decided that this is the time to open up the 2bit woodlands to the first 2bit gathering. I do not really need to wait until I have 100% powered sites and an outdoor bathhouse to have a few friends over.
It will be Fri-Sat Nov 15th and 16th
I will have the shooting range set up, I am far outside city limits and wake up to gun fire regularly, no worries so bring your guns and ear muffs!
There is a nice dug in fire pit for a nice fire and plenty of firewood here
There is a nice large deck for the pot luck with plenty of seating
Shower and Facilities in my trailer are clean and available
Space is limited: There are 9 sites available. 5 have power, 4 are dry camping or generator powered camping due to the distance from the house and limited amperage load to my trailer.
I will post a map soon for the specific sites (photoshop is fighting me) but there will be three areas so please let me know what you are interested in and we will shift as needed to accommodate, it should be nice weather so if you are able to dry camp or generator camp please be courteous and let those who need power have those sites, you are never 100 feet away in any site:
2 no-power sites in the easement at the front of the property
(this is near the road but has a nice tree line separating the road, more private from the party)
2 no-power sites in the woods at the back of the property behind the loop around the fire pit
(be a good backer, I back my 16' car hauler there all the time)
5 powered sites in the middle in the parking area with extension cords running from the house.
(My teardrop is the 5th site, CD gets first dibs on it if he is able to attend, otherwise I can park it somewhere else and open up the site)
