Trailer: 1998 or 1999 Enclosed 20 foot axtex trailer
20 feet long by 8.5 feet wide with approximately 4 foot tongue

Well, my plans for the trailer are to work and live out of it. I will also be using this to help with s and r as well as assisting law enforcement when able. Roughly the front half will be the living area and the back half will the the office/storage/workspace. My dad and I used the trailer for kart racing years ago, so we installed electricity, lighting and the L shaped work bench. For now I am keeping it simple and building as I go.

The bench will serve as both a work surface as needed and as a cooking area, with the storage underneath the top of the bench. I took the photos with my old flip phone.

I am trying to figure out how to put a latch mechanism on the exterior door. The problem is that the latch part would have to go about 3.25 inches in order to actually latch. I will get a better picture as soon as I can.

Bed:

I will sleep on the floor in my sleeping bag and camping pad for now and then get a cot or just build a bed. I am pretty good with cold, it's the heat that I don't really like, even though I have lived in the phoenix area for the vast majority of my life.

Insulation: Foam

I plan on using the one inch on the sides and front and two inch on the roof and at least two inches under the floor. I may have a full wall that seperates the front half from the back, to help with insulation and to mount the window air conditioner that is on the right of the bench, the one that still has it's casing.

Electrical:
It already has 3 sets of shop lights and two househould circular outlets for the 13 watt bulbs and outlets along the front and side of the bench. As I get the funds solar will be installed, I would prefer to have the entire top of the trailer covered with solar on the roof. The weight will be an issue.
The electrical panel is mounted to the front left of the interior of the trailer near the floor. I will probably put the solar and other electrical stuff near there. I already have an extra car battery for know, that is hooked up in my truck to keep it topped off.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Nice big trailer. There are lots of ideas on here. My best suggestion is that you start reading back through some of the posts, and then search for specific topics. i found lots of ideas in others pictures that I never would have thought to ask about.

I know that there are several threads on putting in door latches, but I don't know where most of them are at the moment. Here is one though: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=55540&p=1014570&hilit=latch#p1014570
