New member, new build.

Hi all,
First I would like to say thank you for all the tips and information I have already gleaned from this forum.

I have started a 10' overall length Modern Cub Tear Drop. The budget was a big factor in the planning of the build but not huge.
I'm doing a plywood floor and walls on a HF 4x8 trailer skinned in Aluminum. So far I have the walls on and the roof stringers set. I should have the inside "ceiling" skinned in hardwood veneer in the next few days (the walls are already skinned). Now I just need to figure out my preferred galley arrangement so I can locate the galley lid seam.

I guess I should also note my stubborn and unconventional approach to this project.
I have no plans or prints. No bill of materials and practically no tools. I read a lot of the build reports and comments on this forum and looked at a lot of commercial builds. I know what I want in my head and the build itself I am figuring out as I go along. I know, not real smart. Well, I never claimed much intelligence. So far everything is going well.

I will try to post some pictures as soon as I figure out how. (I might even break down and read the instructions on how  )

Again, thanks to all of you for answering my questions and helping me out without even knowing you were doing so.

Kell Welcome aboard !! I, like you, did my build with no plans. I had in my mind a picture of what I wanted the finished product to look like and what needs my wife and I had that the tear had to satisfy. The result was a tear that we are very satisfied with ( as I have told others it turned out to be not as good as I had hoped for but way better than I really expected ). Best of luck in your build. You should at least plan your wiring or do that portion of your build NOW!
Before you get to the galley or the outer skin.

Yeah. Was thinkin about that today. I really don't know what I want in electrical. Something bare basics and simple. So, I have been putting off even thinking about it till now.
Was thinking about running the wiring under the floor as much as possible.

OK, this has taken forever to figure out. I hope it gets easier to post pictures so I can get back to my Teardrop.

I'm starting on the galley. I have what I want in my head. I'm sure it won't change more than 20 times before I'm done. As soon as the galley is roughed in I can locat the galley lid hinge and then start the skin.

More pics as time permits.
