No work on the camper today, but Karl and I hauled the junk from my utility trailer acquisition off. See my Charcoal Briquette thread for a small update.

That “burnt offering" is a great act of Salvage !!!  You “could" always just take it apart and sandblast all the parts ... A “restoration” ... Just a little “hobby”project on the side while you’re carefully finishing TPCE ... 8)

Not yet. For now The Briq will just get a tire and light kit to hopefully get reg.

Then back to the real build, TPCE rides on!

Yes, but thankfully it was nowhere near any of my stuff. I acquired a 5x8 utility tilt trailer that had been in a serious fire and have been doing a little bit of work on it to make it useable. Ever since I sold my small P/U and switched to an SUV I have been casually looking for a UT. This one fell in my lap.

I'm calling it "The Charcoal Briquette".

I'm glad you are enjoying the build, and thank you for saying so. I'll get back on it very shortly. I need to at least get The Briq licensed so that Karl can borrow it, otherwise I need to bring it home... :frightened: .

Quick update.

Dead beat tired from day job, so things came slowly tonight. First a little work on The Briq, then TPCE.

I made a skim cut on the notch in the upper rear cabinet side ledger so that it would fit over the lower cabinet face frame. Then I made a couple more temporary spacers and dry fit the upper rear ledger. After that I started taping around the edges to mask. And that's all I had in me.

Pics next time.

Bit by bit, bite by bite.
