Updated info on Little Guy quality?

Hi, one of the TD's Im looking at is the LIttle Guy 6' R/T. All the searching on this forum has lead to a bunch of older posts identifying issues with the LG trailers- mostly seam leak issues. Im aware of LG's history with Little Trailer and their separation. I have not found any more current info on the LG trailer quality. Im especially interested in how their 6' R/T is in that regard. Any one with current knowledge on this camper? Thanks in advance.

Not the R/T my my 2009 Little Guy hasn't given me problems yet and I check for soft spots quite frequently. However It is stored inside when not in use.

Since 2009 the quality has improved greatly when the current owners changed manufacturers. Little Guy bends over backwards to correct any problems and to have satisfied customers. Indycamper recently has her crumbling 2007 cabin body replaced with a new 2014 model on her frame. She is as giddy as a little girl!!! Yes, she paid for it, but the cost was a lot less than trying to build one on her own. Check out the Little Guy forum at golittleguy.com for more info.

I watched that guy's videos. I'm glad he's "technically capable". I wouldn't judge a tear's quality on a couple of loose hose clamps. It's obvious that the factory has (had?) one bad apple doing some minor plumbing work. But, hey, it's a factory.

All of us make modifications to our teardrops. In a manufactured one, such as the Little Guy, I wonder if he contacted the factory to give them the tip about the piano hinge that they didn't think of. It's only been a few weeks since they've been made aware that the under mattress storage panels are difficult to keep in place. Sometimes they don't know there's a problem if they're not made aware of it. I installed the piano hinge and it's working fine for me.

I've had my 2009 5 wide for close to 6 months now stored outside and haven't found the first drop of moisture inside. It's been one of the wettest summers we've had in a long time. I'd say the quality is great.

Have you seen the T@G teardrop model that Little Guy will be selling? Saw one at the Pomona RV show, and had to take a good look. LIttle Guy was taking build orders at the show.

I haven't seen any info on their site yet. It does look like an interesting camper
