Jerry,

I fly to Mexico City on Alaska Airlines, ride the Metro to the cathedral, stay at the hostel there for US$9 a night, then take a taxi to the south bus terminal, then get on any 1st class bus going to Veracruz, day or night. It doesn't matter. One can sleep on the bus at night. Major highway. No problem. Beats paying for a hotel room. From Veracruz, all of southern Mexico is a day or two away, from Cancun to San Cristobal de Las Casas in the mountains of Chiapas almost in Guatemala. Both Mexico City and the city of Veracruz are worth spending 3 days in playing tourist.

Greyhound sucks compared to ADO bus lines in southern Mexico. ADO costs much less per mile. Less than a hotel room for an overnight trip of a couple hundred miles.

:icedtea: Life is short. :) October to March is the best time.

Jerry,

Been to some of those. Prefer Veracruz. They do Carnival (Mardi Gras) like in Brazil and New Orleans:

I like that one Prem! I have always wondered when I would see a pop out on the rear door. :D

B,

Glad you liked it. I like it too. I like spaciousness/openness, not a narrow walkway and cabinets/filled-in space as many, much and tight as possible. That one opens up nicely for being so small to start with. We've seen it's bigger cousin before on the forum.

Here's another build I don't think is on our forum:

 This is the place to be in January if you are free and can be there. I love camping in the desert at Quartzsite. 8)

 While I admire the concept of snap together and ride-on-a-utility trailer, I don't think I would want to sleep inside that much plastic. Could be done in wood or foam by one of us.

Neat. Now if they can make the inside of a 5 x 10 look reasonable for camping, why am I struggling with going with a 6 x14 or 7x14 CT? Maybe I am trying to add too much!
