hi everyone! I thought I`d introduce myself. every year I take on a winter project to keep me busy through the cold months, and I`ve decided to build a tear drop this year. I`ve build a few muscle cars/street rods/ect. so I know my way around cars having rebuilt every part on one from start to finish including motors/trans./bodywork/paint/frame/suspension/ect. right now I`m looking for a frame to build on. I've already got some windows from the local junkyard that I visit regularly. they were in an 86 dodge camper van and the round one was from a different van-

Welcome to the forum. I see by your handle that you're a Dodge fan. Since you seem to have a lot of experience with hotrods, maybe you might want to try building a trailer from an old Dodge shell.

Remove the front axle, close up the front wheel wells (and maybe section out a coupla feet of the length), and there you go ! Vedette built "Miss Piggy" from an old Stude (I think). I thought of doing that with an HHR panel shell (but there weren't any to get, and certainly not at my price!), but it would've required more skills and tools than I have. Just a thought.
