A 12 ft. FEATHERLITE conversion

Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Jerry,

:frightened: Wild cougars at Quartzsite? Dunno. Why don't you go there, put on some AXE cologne and find out. Stick a $100 bill in your cowboy hat band too. ;) The sign of a serious swapmeeter/lapidary specialist. :lips:

Earnest,

The mind always longs for what it doesn't have rather than being happy with what it has. I'm quite happy with my trailer. (I've built 11 RVs over the years.) BUT I still like looking at what others have/are building just in case I find something simpler/superior (in my mind) to what I have. SO, you could go to Quartzsite with Jerry and check out the cougars!

:rofl2:
P.S. Whatever you find, I don't need to know.

Jerry (and Earnest),

Quartzsite, Arizona is sorta like Nevada's Burning Man but for burned out retirees who quit their jobs, the grandkids, the churches, then hit the road in their RVs and now may or may not have on dusty clothes, wear beads, drink beer, wine, gin or vodka every afternoon, and break out in smiles while looking at the fire agate, amethyst, geodes and amber they just bought. You might even find a few real desert rockhounds and interesting, old hippies living free with solar panels and carving ironwood sculptures for sale or selling oranges.

It's a hoot. Highly recommended.

Now I know why AC, heat, insulation and solar power is so important to our western forum members.

Prem- are you sympatico with all that? If so, you've just described what I pretty much want, except for the beads and drinking: past that, quit the other. It would be so nice to just drift away....But, I am really too changed by the last 40-45 years to get back to that "laid-back" persona I was able to assume at times (I was always Jekyll/Hyde). My Type A+ other side took over too long ago...it might take me too long to switch it off. TnTTT-type-camping is my planned attempt to do so.

Yes. Simpatico.

The psychologist Abraham Maslow called it "self actualization." Everything we do creatively is a form of that, but I suppose one could also call it "applied psychotherapy." Designing and building projects is that for me.

BTW, it's best to go to Quartzsite without cologne or anything in your hat band. ;)

The URL on the bottom of the photo and the name of the business indicate Brazil.

Speaking of Brazil, do you know what these tubes are?

Prem, Howdy;

Possiably an indicator for the driver about tire flex while cornering/backing/whenever
high tire flex is expected ?????
About the motorcycle, Brazil is Left-hand drive like us, Thought that years ago (30 or so),
Sweden was Right-hand drive like the Brits is why I asked...
