New idea , I have the walls in light stain mahogany , cabinets & ceiling in light maple
What about some Walnut trim strips on the ceiling and or walls to cover the seams

I hate having multiple different keys sooooo much! I do try to key many things the same.

Sucks living next door to Mr. Lightfingers.

Spent the past two days mixing / pouring concrete. New sidewalks at the cabin.

Why even build a trailer.....

you could just be a professional couchsurfer, maybe we could get something going with trailers ?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/talkingtech/2013/10/12/talking-tech-couchsurfing/2959867/

VENICE BEACH, Calif. — Becky Hall and Mark Craven spent three months this summer touring the U.S., and they never paid a dime to spend the night.

They mostly "couch-surfed" using the popular Couchsurfing.org website and app to find free places to stay — everywhere from New York to Los Angeles.

Think Airbnb, but with a twist.

"It's free," says Hall.

The Couchsurfing website was launched in 2004. The app was released for Apple and Android platforms in 2012, where it has been widely accessed. "The app's better than the website," says Hall. "It's all we use."

That makes sense. When you're traveling from couch to couch, like Hall and Craven did this year, the phone would be the easiest way to find the next available spot, especially since most couch surfers probably leave their laptops at home.

Couchsurfing says it has 6 million members in 100,000 cities.

It's free to sign up, but you'll have to pay $25 to "verify" your identify.

Like Airbnb, which is a vehicle to rent rooms, apartments and homes around the world, Couchsurfing taps into Facebook profiles to associate a name and face for guests and hosts.

I'm sorta bummed , I was planning to get OTTCT 2.0 out to the beach in Santa Cruz
:O :duh :SH
This weekend & FULL MOON ..... But I could not get done with my small 20+ list of must do items
To make the trailer & cargo road safe.

I was planning to bombard you guys with lots of pictures at my almost done open house.

The new plan is to hit the beach Oct 31 for Trick - Treat Halloween showing
Besides all my standard LED lights
I already purchased about $300 in extra Halloween decorations & lights.
I'm planing to get some more & even tons of candy to handout.
Mostly only the ceiling, shower and 1 solar panel and front elec panel wiring is still off line.

So there is my challenge - to get off my butt & hit the road this time
Or you can all give me lots of
:fb :fb :snow :x :hammer: :hammerhead: :DOH2: :noyes: :rainy:

Because I'm really falling down on the JOB

Last chance - 10 days till Blast off

Hey Earnest

I really greatly admire any person who sets out to walk across our great country.
It takes a lot of FAITH to do that because it's basically impossible to do without the help of many others.

It also brings out the best side in people , who are instantly motivated to help.
It really brings out the good side of humanity in people ,
The kindness that we should express more to each other vs chasing a $$$
I would rather meet a real person like that and help out vs
A baseball or football star who just signed a $50 million contract.

:ok: Life outside the box of stagnation---meeting interesting people and being out in mother nature---is most appealing. (Even if it ends abruptly.)

I agree most heartedly. My most memoriable moments is with a pack on headed over the river, thru the woods, where I ended up, I figured that out after I got there. Never did anything like Mr. Bell's venture. Met lots of cool folks and each trek was good for the soul.

For those who remember my Neighbors crack house downtown San Jose, here we go again.
In short they stole $1.4 million from the bank for a 2005 refinance,
paid no property taxes for 5+ years, owe over $50,000 in property taxes, Owe $13,000 in utilities,
turned a duplex into a 2 story 6 plex crack house. did over 100,000 drug deals there.
Had the city haul away 160 Cu yards ( 4 Giant dumpsters ) of trash
now their front house was condemned because they owe thousands of $$$$ for the water bill...

so they are now camping out in their front yard hoping to pay the water bill &
be allowed to return into their crack house
ANBODY WANNA DONATE

Also I can share with you, that process took 4 cops , 2 city inspectors
& 3 city workers 5 hours to board up their house
there goes an easy $5,000 in city services.

On top of the $995,000 we already spent on that house in the last 2 years.

GOD BLESS CALIFORNIA

here is a good deal for solar trailer, asking only $25k

I would guess the Material & trailer costs are close to $18k, not including any labor, built in 2010
this thing would have sold for $50,000 or more when new ...

While doing a little research on a question by Orcaditigal

I fould this product that while expensive, this may be of help with your "STRANDED" electric wiring , it is sold on Amazon web site

Researching a little about WAGO's I found the Wago 222 would be an EXCELLENT connector as many here swear by stranded wire.
That standard comes from "BOATS" as they vibrate like hell & are in a wet & salty environment, if it works there - your CT is a cakewalk.
I use both solid & stranded and have had no problem with either.
However as i'm residential I have never seen the WAGO 222, they are not sold at HD or Lowes
They are actually rated from 24 - 32 amps
and WAGO makes over 25,000 different products

below are a few you tube videos to prove my point, for all those who are stuck - and drowning in misinformation of how rotten WAGO's are ,
PLEASE DROWN - by yourself, and let the other open minded folks make up their own minds after they view the FACTS !!!!
