You're on your own with your multitude of wives...

Well, lets see if I can answer this. One wife has family in Santaquin and Provo and 30 years ago I almost opened a crafts store in Payson (it was almost a goast town then, just retired people. It was in the main part of town which I don't think much is left. I went through there last year and almost didn't recognize the place. Boy has it built up.) Another wife is Mormon and I like to camp at the KOA in Fillmore. Oh, and the great state of Utah has named a town after me.

I don't hijack, I just try and answer questions without sticking my foot in my mouth. Besides, it's not hijacking, it's passing the time while waiting for more pictures.

Have a good day.

Didn't really answer you did I? I never give out the punch line. :rofl2:

I haven't been checking the forum much lately - my spare time has been spent building, rather than on the computer! Here's a picture from today. Both sidewalls and doors are built up as shown below, and the sidewall inside skins are cut.

There are more pics in my album.

The snow is finally melting around here, so I'm also looking for a frame builder (had to wait for the snow to melt enough so I'd have a place to park it). I'm still having fun and it's cool to see it taking shape! 8)

Walls look great! Even extra windows!

Are you going to have a custom chasis built or are you building it on a Harbor Freight?

Hi Karen,

I'm going with a custom-built frame (it'll be 5x8). I'm searching for the builder now. The extra hole is actually going to be little door that may someday be a slideout for my son's feet. He won't be under 5' forever (I hope), although by the time he's that long, he probably won't want to be in the same state as his parents, let alone in the same, small trailer. I also sized it just right for another window when we no longer want or need it to be a slideout.

When I realized that I was spending more time reading about things like blimps landing in Ira's backyard rather than about wiring and axles, it was time to start making sawdust!

Tease me all you like, guys. The more I read the more I learn. Heck, by the time I build my teardrop, I won't have one question or make one mistake. (yeah, right!!!|)
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

It'll be the perfect Teardrop and no need to build a second. Right Chris :QM

Have a good day.
