I was thinking the same thing as JDhiker . We have a 3 season cottage on a pond which we love BUT there are times when I would like to see the kids & grandkids put it to use while the wife & I head down the road with a teardrop ..........

My friend, who has fibromyalgia, has to have a comfortable bed, easy to access bathroom and temperature control. They have a large tow behind trailer. I have my teardrop. We camp together when our schedules coinside. I am just glad you are getting out and enjoying travel. Good luck and if you see a teardrop, please stop in and say hi, you know we are mostly a friendly bunch.
Ever consider what our dogs must think of us? I mean, here we come back from the grocery store with the most amazing haul - chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! - Ann Tyler

Just in case anyone thinks we'll be lounging in silk jammies, with mink lap robes while downing champagne and goose liver pate, I just got my first DO, a 12" Lodge. We'll be chowing down on dump cakes, chili, stews, chicken and dumplings and cowboy hash just like the rest of you. Getting the munchies just thinking about it

Forgive me father for I too have sinned. Actually I went over to the dark side when my Little Guy Silver Shadow leaked and rotted thru, so I bought a Ford conversion van.

You're all welcome to come join us on the Tearjerkers site. We are, first and foremost a camping group. Yes, our name is a spin on the teardrop, and yes, a lot of us camp in teardrops. But a lot of us don't, and we don't care at all what you're camping in, be it a tent, a tear, or a land yacht. You're always welcome to join the fun!!
