A person can never own too many tools or have too many ideas or have too much interesting and useful stuff in the garage.

Wouldn't put my dog in the teardrop when I have plenty of room in the car... but I do carry my dog in our motorcycle trailer... I wouldn't do it if it was not safe to do so. And like some have mentioned related to the abundance of pet owners who do that in Europe, we do that a lot out here in America. There are dog specific trailers that are designed to safely transport your pooch. It has side vents, Solar fan on top plus a marine hatch that you see open on top. Dog is tethered inside so she can't jump out. Inside has a section blocked off separating where the dog will be and the cargo. Its pretty safe as far as anything traveling the roads. Safer than all the dogs we see in the back of pick up trucks.
