I'd love to sight fish to some roosters, especially with my fly rod. I have this other addiction that keeps getting in the way though. Its called Mexican Tarpon. Campeche and the Yucatan. I can't break away from that in the winter. But I do need to cast at some roosters.
I need to take one of your Spanish classes too!

Jim,

Nice tarpon. Come on down and I'll upload your brain with Spanish 101 thru 303 in six weeks or less and the fishing terminology too.

P.S. There's a very wide river in Veracruz that the locals don't really fish. Primordial stuff lives in it.

Screw the old folks home. Just get my old, deaf, blind, crippled butt out to the forest, along the river, and leave me there. I'll fish 'till I can't anymore, and float on down from there. :)

I never thought of it that way, but its a pretty good analogy. Just an old spawned-out chum.

Two old widowers are fishing the pier, like they have done together for years.

One guy says to the other, "When I die, don't let them bury me. Cut me up and throw me into the sea."

The guys dies. His old pal cuts him up, takes the pieces down to the pier, throws them over into the ocean and says,

"There you go old chum."

Funny thing, this concept is almost exactly what led me to this forum. Two years ago I wanted to stop sleeping in the back of my covered truck bed during hunting season and I thought of throwing together some plywood onto my 5 x 10 utility trailer almost like this photo. I never did it b/c I researched the web for ideas and found this great forum and decided on doing the converted CT thing.

 Good on ya!

A slide-in box on a utility trailer is a really good idea, in my view, provided that a) you have other uses for the flatbed utility trailer regularly, or b) you take a grinder and get rid of the expanded metal floor (cheese grater) and weld in a some center support on the floor so you can have a really good (and smooth) trailer chassis for your camping box. (This second idea is probably what I will build next.)

P.S. Did you notice the non-RV windows on that rig? NOT GOOD
