Hi from Long Island , NY

I have been lurking around for the past 6 months. My Dad, who is amazing agreed to build me our first teardrop. It took him 4 months to build and we picked it up yesterday and slept in it in our driveway last night. So happy to join the tear drop family!!!

You might want to start an album here on the Forum.
It is the little icon below my signature.
As a member you can view other members albums.
Good Place to store your pictures as you can add any one of them to the text of your posts quite easily.

You are.right, your dad is amazing ! It looks like he had a lot of fun building your TD. The little details, like the tinted door windows and the vortex generators are proof of an inventive mind and a skilled hand.

I'm so glad you call your new TD the 'Bumble Bee', as that is the
first thing I thought of when seeing the pic. The second thought
was, 'Wow, such a nice unique design'. Hopefully, later on, when you
can, please post some construction pics or a short narrative -
whatever you can - of your Dad's methods in constructing it. Many
on here will definitely be curious !

You guys look like you are already having fun with your new TD.
Just wait until you hit the road with it and meet some of the great folks that are in the TD family.
Not only is it a wonderful way to travel and camp, but it is a wonderful avenue to meet new friends.
