Hey I'm still watching for dry weekends to see how the Pinecone does out in the cold. I've had it out on a 40-degree night and with the electric blanket no problem!

But, I hear what you're saying about the winter. Pinecone is in the garage resting...but also getting some work done in prep for next season. Some wiring and a roof rack are next, and then of course the gear hammock that Bryce mentioned is getting added to the list!

Brian and Bryce - Are you planning on being at the Dam Gathering in May 2014? I really hope I can make it there.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it or not yet, still too far away to give a definite answer. I've been adding things to my list as well Greg. I still want to add a stereo system in the cabin, haven't decided yet if I want to add on to the Galley yet. I still would like to add another table on the other side of the trailer as well as make the existing ones larger for more space to prep and cook. Ideas keep coming up daily, almost too many. haha.

This is the first I've heard about the "IRG"; where can I go to find out more about where/when/etc? It may be a better time of year if it's in the summer and the kids are out of school.

IRG was my very first official gathering. Located a few miles inland from the coast in the North West corner of California among the Redwoods, this is one of the premier events of the camping season. It happens only every other year in a county campground that is completely private to only the event. :D It is run by a great couple, who got married at the last Dam Gathering, Dean and Joanie. It will definitely be a great time. The reason there is no date yet is, because the park is so popular they have a system of selecting groups to camp there right after the first of the year. It is usually sometime around mid July. We will hear more after they get the date. 8)

By all means, don't miss the Dam Gathering only a couple months before. Even though its going to be a bit more spontaneous this year and may not be as large as last years, it still promises to be loads of fun! :applause:
