New builder in DC metro

We are based out of the DC metro area of the US.
I have been toying with trailer as basecamp for backpacking, maybe camping.
Now it has changed to camping, travel and get all the camping gear out the home, except our backpacks. Additionally we haul cameras, and the occasional canoe or bicycles

My design is more expedition than teardrop. My tow vehicle will Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. We travel down many roads in National Forests, Parks, and Wildernesses in the US and Canada. So far Key West to Algonquin Provincial Park and Acadia National Park to Santa Fe National Forest. So much more to see.

Currently we have assembled a Harbor Freight 1720 Lb. Capacity Super Duty Utility Trailer, 48" x 96" Haul-Master - item#94564.

Welcome Hiker! Sounds like you need to start a build thread. if you havent already. Our ideas change so quickly once you get on here and start reading and they will change again as you start your galley or doors or sometimes design. Be sure to wash out the packing goo in the wheel bearings and pack well with grease. Happy building!!!
