Inside door skin?

How do you skin the inside of a door? (Mine need to be done)

I was going to cover it in 1/2 inch foam, then fake leather. Then install a curtain rod and curtain.

Ant better ideas?

What's the rest of your interior finished with?

Typically I finished the insides of the doors with a few coats of spar urethane.

Yours look a little rough. You might want to knock the edges off with a sanding block, and then coat it with some polyester resin. That'll give it a nice thick, smooth surface.

I used ugly 3/4 pine plywood for my tear sides. Everything needs a skin.

Mine is in process but I am using a very cheap luan from Lowe's. Red Oak, looks pretty good for the price.
