Dan,

The wheels and tires look great! :applause:  :applause: Is that a propane powered light fixture? If so are you going to run it on gas or convert it to electricity?

Take care,
Tom

Working on a table idea. It will fold up along the wall for transport, and then lay down on a standard camper post and wall hinge in use. If I size it right one person can sit on the bed and one on the seat to the right. Early mfgrs. Clipped the corner for ease of access. I have some vintage camper ads that I thought would look good on the top with counter top epoxy! and, since the bottom will be seen when hinged up, maybe put some of those tacky state stickers from around the country people collect after visiting a place on a trip.

Here is one that I did a few campers ago resting on a small cabinet that resides below the hinge on the side.

Dan, a white board would be another idea for the bottom side. If that 's too modern, a chalkboard? Just thinking

Made the shelf with light today for the wall beside the door, and added vents in one of the cabinet doors for air flow to the heater.

Looking great. Love to see it and Doug’s new camper at a camping event one day.

Do you install some sort of water channel on both side of your hatch opening?

Terry
Not really a channel, but by making the hatch narrower than the body, Any water that runs backwards down the roof will hit the fixed half of the hatch hinge and then run sideways to these run-off sections, which is just the roof continuing down the back. I believe it allows for no standing water to accumulate and a better hatch seal. IMHO, but that's just how I do it.
You can sorta see it in this pic, how the top continues down along either side of the hatch.

Not really an update on the camper.....had a new knee put in in late Nov and haven't been in the shop since. Monday was 4 weeks, so maybe in a few weeks I will be able to get back on track. I know I am awful bored sitting around watching the tube! I read every post on here regularly though.

Hope it's better soon Dan. I'm running on original equipment in my knees, but they let me know it when I'm having to get down on the concrete to do something. Doug

Dan,
Take your time with your new knee. My father had one replaced. It was a lot of pain and rehab for three months but it gave my dad a new lease on life. He said he wished he had the replacement done years earlier.
Take care,
Tom
