Here’s another ... You can mix GG with water and rubbing alcohol , and it makes the GG foam up quickly and lightly so it sands easier ...The plane guys do that ...

Ok first I don't have and GG Gorilla Glue so that is out. Second, I think the edge is sanded off not squished, I would have to go 17 miles to buy some GS Great Stuff ( I looked for some yesterday, I don't have any, used it all up) So I think I will use Norm's idea I kinda like it, simple and easy. the filler will be sawdust, That is easy, empty the dust collector on my sander and the glue will be TBII Great idea Thanks Norm The other ideas are good too if I just had the ingredients but I do have a new Gallon of TBII Simple, Simple and use what I have. I have a lot to do today I will take pictures!!!

If you sift the sawdust through a screen , or that old flour sifter, you’ll end up with a fine consistency putty when mixed with T2 ... just like making dough ...only it dries like a rock ! ( like some of my Whole Wheat loaves)

I am using the saw dust out of my sander. I am just having to let it dry it was very damp.

No worries , it will become more damp when mixed with the glue ... Then it will all dry together... A little plastic spreader will help smooth everything out so there will be less sanding to be done later ...

Well I have had company all today and they are gone now so while we were talking I was thinking about dyeing my hair and then a thought, squeeze bottles used for dyeing I can put the glue and sawdust mix in there and squeese it into the crack, Perfect the hole is large enough and that way I can force it into the areas I need it in.......... TA DA!!!!!!

GPW you ever heard the old saying about " I know so much I have forgotten half what I learned in my lifetime, and scared I will forget this when I get old. Well that is me now how bout you?

Mary, I'm guessing that the glue/sawdust paste is going to be more of a pasty consistency that you will be able to spread and smush down into the crack similar to the spackle. No sense in getting a bottle dirty.

If you think it would work, you could put it in a plastic zip lock freezer bag, snip the corner off and pipe it like cake icing (making the applicator disposable), but I think you want to mix the paste up fairly thick with plenty of sawdust, so this probably won't work well either.

I think just mix it like you would body filler and a hard flat surface with a plastic card, then scope it up and smush it in there, then use the card to scrape off the excess flush.

It might also be a good idea to apply it a little at a time in thinner "lifts", letting it dry in between so that you don't have problems with it shrinking as it drys.

Hey I like the bag idea too. I just know that it is a real thin area but really important to have a lot of glue 14 inch to 18th and about 12 to an inch deep I will get it done I guess in the morning. I will post some pictures. Thanks for the input y'all have really been terrific help and lately I just have not been thinking too clearly, I have been thinking so much and worring about my daughter in law Kris. I guess I gotta just do it in the morning.

'Looks like it's working ! If there are any gaps after drying, another
application should fill them. It'll be interesting to see your final
results once it's all final sanded - I can't anticipate anything else but success !
