Packing Heat.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Hey Spad, just do what a buddy of mine did. I was talking to a buddy on the computer. He got a new gun he wanted to show me. All he did was lay it on his flatbed scanner and scan it in. Worked like a champ.

I've enjoyed this topic. Nothing better than a bunch of pistol packing good ole boys and their toys.
I would rather the intruders mom  , instead of mine ;)

Shiloh Sharps made the rifle for the Quigley movie - turn on your speakers when you click the link and you get the soundtrack.
You can buy one like it for circa $500 ...

You can't even get the bottom-of-the-line Italian-made repro 1874 Sharps (like mine) for $500. My Sharps is imported by Taylor Arms and goes for around $950. The cheapest 1874 that Shiloh sells is around $1600.
altho on the site they don't offer the barrel length from the movie. I think it's a special order...

All Shiloh rifles are special order. They do offer the Quigley Rifle - it goes for around $3000. Taylor also has a Quigley for about half the price of Shiloh.

I can't even imagine shooting the .45-110 with a 500 grain bullet. Mine's .45-70 and it thumps me pretty hard. I've shot shilhouetts at 200 yards and it's, "BANG! ... ... ... ... ... ... CLANG! It's fun being spotting for someone shooting it - you can actually see that big ol' bullet in the scope coming in on the target before it hits.
