Its an 8 footer, bed sort of dinette thingy in the front, and a couple closets either side inside the back door and an icebox and not much else. Thinking of loosing the closets and shortening it to my 6 1/2 bed. Need to put an insulated sub floor in it, right now its sitting on skids.

And I got it for the whopping price of $50, I gave him $60 though cause he helped me load it

Just call me Mr Generous

I've had my eye open for one of those for a while. I'd mount it on a 5x8 NT trailer, after building up some side and front walls so it sits right. (Almost) instant TTT for bottom dollar.

If I didn't have a TTT already, that would be an awesome idea. This is a slide in unit, would be easy to frame in storage down the sides sitting on a trailer.
I'm just doin a clean up on it for a middle of the winter cross country run in -30 weather because I don't feel like towing this trip, still undecided if keeping at 8 feet for a temp thing or shortening to my box for a more permanent setup.
Still have to find a heat source, don't think a candle box will cut it a -30
If I get this far and shorten it, I may reclad it in Red to match the TTT then I could back the truck up to my rear entry TTT, a fitted gazebo sort of thing between them and I'd have a gypsy condo

Looks tall enough to notch out the front and have a short cabover....

Yes, a bargain - can't beat the price much, except for "free" !

Why not live with it for a while, use as is for your trip, then decide.
Cutting it down would eliminate the built-in storage, for the most
part.

Have a safe trip in the frigid temps.

Cheers,
