My name is Troy. I live just north of Nashville Tennessee. I work as a carpenter building custom closets. I'm happily married for 18 years, I have 2 sons,one a Marine currently deployed. I have 2 grandkids who I love more than almost anything. My screen name actually comes from my grandson. When I get home he greets me at the door with " papa papa" then its " papajeep papajeep".
I've had my eye on teardrops for quite some time now. I think once I find the right design I'll build one myself. I've read some & intend to read some more on foamies. I think its a really interesting concept.
So that's me in a nutshell. I'll have lots of questions down the road I'm sure

Welcome to the forum. It is a great place to get answers to your questions. In your case might be a good idea to look at tears with bunks in case the grandkids want to go camping with " papajeep " best of luck Lee

Welcome to this great site and as said before THANK your son for his services I just got my 1st granddaughter can't wait tell I can take her camping she has all ready been out to a group gathering Las Vegas Turkey gathering or the day. Starting her off to a good start. When you build your Tear include the kids as much as you can and get pics. They will remember it forever.
