Maybe thoroughly soak the wood with “the Mixture” ... :thinking:

Perhaps even a light fabric covering glued over that ? .... :roll:

75% Mineral spirits , 25% polyurethane varnish .. as described/tested in the Foamie’ section ... Yeah , those guys !!! :roll:

Well, assuming you have cookies turned on, maybe the board cookies got messed up. In the lower right hand corner of the screen, try clearing the board cookies.

Mike , the Mixture has worked very well for us for many years ... It’s Very Thin and really soaks in deep into the wood .... The more coats you put on , the better it works ...
