Hello from Wyoming!

Postby WyoTaco11 » Sat Dec 28, 2013 4:22 pm

Hello all my name is Ryan. I enjoy fly fishing, camping, and exploring the Wyoming and Colorado mountains with my wife and two dogs.

I have been lurking around this site and the Expedition Portal forum for a while dreaming about building an offroad capable camper. I have finally convinced The Boss that this is a good idea and she gave me the go ahead. UH OH!

I am planning on building an unconventional tear drop inspired by this one built by username 1speed from the Expedition Portal forum.

I am looking forward to picking some of your brains as I move forward on my build.

Hi WyoTaco11/Ryan,

Welcome to the forum. There are at least a handful of builds, similar
to your inspiration build, that have been done on here. The Build Journal
section should have enough threads of them to help you see how others have
approached it.

Have fun planning and building.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Don't forget to look at the foamie section. Plenty of opportunities to save weight while still building an off road capable TD! Welcome.
