The basic Scamp 13 has a 46" wide dinette bed. Considering one edge of it has radius curves, it is definitely a cuddly bed. You can get a 54" wide (double) bed by ordering the Custom Deluxe wood interior, but that is pricey. My wife and I are neither one large, and we sleep in a double bed at home. We were very comfy in our Custom Deluxe, but would not have been in a 46" standard.
Now, we have a Little Guy 4-wide, which has a ... 46.5" bed. It is definitely squeezie. But, in a teardrop, you can't exactly fall out of bed, so it works. If we were buying again, we would get a 5-wide.
The Snoozy comes out of the box with a full-time queen bed. For most people, there would be a huge appeal to that - worth a few bucks.
If you want a bathroom, the Scamp bath is very tight, and at 5'11", I had to crouch to shower. The Snoozy has a full stand-up shower.
Scamps do have a tendency towards floor rot. They have a gazillion rivet holes and other penetrations, and they are insulated with reflectix insulation. Any water that seeps in goes right to the floor, usually undetected, and nearly the entire floor perimeter is hidden in a cabinet of some sort, so moisture typically isn't noticed until the damage is extensive. I'm not saying that Scamp's are to be avoided (they are much better than most non-fiberglass campers), but this is sort-of their Achilles Heel.
Snoozy's have far fewer penetrations (no rivets), and there is no wood in the floor or walls. The walls themselves are sandwich-constructed for rigidity, so leaks are less likely. In the event of a leak, there is not much to rot. But, you pay for this type of construction.
I consider the Scamp to be a "normal" grade camper, and the Snoozy to be a "premium" grade camper. I have asked Snoozy to consider building an island-double-bed floorplan. That, in my opinion, would make it suitable for full-timing for my wife and I. I would not try to full-time in a Scamp 13 (although it has been done).
To sum up, I think it is difficult to directly compare the Scamp 13 and the Snoozy. There just aren't similar enough. Both are fine, and both are going to fit some people's needs better than the other one will. If you want to compare, you'd want to look at a Scamp 16' Custom Deluxe with bath, and that will set you back more than $18k, making the Snoozy price seem more reasonable.
