I am Darin but everyone calls me Demon, short for Speed Demon which is the handle I went by when I was a truck driver before I became disabled.
I got my camper last year for 300$. It was a project someone started and used for a while but it wasn't in what I would call usable condition. The lights didn't work, no insulation, some minor leaks and DC wiring problems, no fenders and interesting AC wiring solution.
Lights were as simple as just needing the wiring redone. insulation was simple, 3/4 inch styro added and I'm putting paneling over that.
Pulled out the cheap plywood cabinets and put in some nice ones I made from cabinets from habitat.
Putting in new wire and fuse block for the DC lights as well as a vented battery box, add inverter and AC battery charger.
Removed the power strip that served as the AC power and adding in actual AC boxes with plugs and wiring, also a small breaker.
AC unit works incredibly well so it gets to stay, it has just been moved outward a bit to solve some of the leaking. It was in so far that the vents were inside and water would come through them.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics of before.

I'll make a build thread to document the build up, I plan on eventually pulling this whole thing off the trailer and building a totally new box at some stage but until that is done I am just building this to make it usable.
