hello from TX

Postby TwoStarsTeardrop » Sun Jan 19, 2014 6:39 pm

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend (Kate) and I are keen campers and recently came across a great deal on a home made tear drop. we had been looking for a while and the right deal came along. it needs some work, but it "campable", and we took it out to our local state park last weekend. we have some electrical questions (its half done, not sure how to complete it - will post photos and questions later!), and also really looking forward to making it our own. We are aiming to have as much done as we can and join you for your meet up in a few months. we live just outside of Denton, TX.

here is a photo of us, and the camper! We look forward to getting to know you guys.

Welcome! We're just south of y'all in Watauga.

Feel free to ask questions. That's how most of us got the info to build/modify our teardrops.

Be sure and check out the South Central section for area gatherings. Thee are events planned for March and April.

Take care,
Tom

Definitely looks home built and a great start! Some basic carpentry and wiring sills and you got it made! :D :D There is loads of advice here and as you can already see, lots of folks are willing to give good advice and a helping hand. Welcome to the community. :applause:
