Had to resize the pics...
Here's a couple of shots of the oven that almost was...

The guy placed an egg on the lid to show how small these babies are.
They say Lodge 5 on the lid and 5CO USA on the bottom.

Good-Bye Little Oven, I hope that lady in Colorado gives you a good home. :cry:

...Geprge, why do people collect velvet Elvis pictures, painted plates, shot glasses, coffee(tea)cups, tea pots, rat fink rings, etc...there is no explaining it and it baffles me as well as you but that is simply the way of it.....

Ypu pose a great question, Jack. I'm afflicted with a couple of said addictions, my biggest being toastmaster toasters. Those suckers are multiplying like flies in the garage. They range from three 1926 models all the way up to 1960 sumthin. Someone PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!
I would imagine there are several posters here who collect teardrop trailers, too.

Food TV this weekend was LOADED with programs on Dutch Oven cooking--a few were about those chuck wagon competitions.

But down here in South Florida, we just can't get the wood anywhere. No one sells it--only chunks.

Can you also use charcoal?
