Hello. I go by bugdust on pretty much every forum I am on. The name has nothing to do with the Australian rock group. Anyway. I have a 1967 VW Westy and once I get it put back together I want a small trailer to tow behind it for the kids or grandkids. (I have a 6 yr old and a grand daughter) I had a 1969 Apache Eagle but I sold it. I would like an Eriba Puck (or larger one) or a teardrop. I have a small trailer I could use as a start for a teardrop.

Welcome to the teardrop and tiny travel trailers forum. be verrrry careful, It is addictive!!!! spend your time really reading the builds check out the tiny section the standies and the foam section and just look around and read up on all. You will find what you like. There are a lot of very smart people on here willing to impart all sorts of information. Good luck on your build.

Looks like a recumbent trike in one of those photos. I have ridden a short-wheelbase under seat steering recumbent for the last 12 or 13 years and love it. I have had my long-tongue 4 X 10 teardrop for the last 3 years and love it also.

Nice to see another VW guy on here. I have a 66 ex sundial in the works. The first trailer I built was going to be towed behind the bus, but cam out a little to heavy. We now have a Scotty but I am already planning out the next teardrop. Have fun with it.

Thanks for the welcome. I have a few recumbent trikes; two vintage MASA Slingshots and a homebuilt Viking tandem. I also have another project trike that I hope to finish at some point. I have had about 60 VWs since 1986. My current one is a 1967 Westy that I've went stupid on and will probably be too nice to drive when it's done...nah, I will drive it.
