July Canton Gathering

Postby Cindy » Sun Feb 02, 2014 2:08 pm

Let's go to a resort July 11-13.
How about camping at Mill's Creek Ranch Resort in Canton, Tx.
They have swimming pools, shaded hiking trails, Frisbee golf, stocked fishing ponds and more. :awesome:
Camping is $35 a night but with a group off 10 campers, we can pay $30 a night and get to use the indoor kitchen/dining room.
Go here and check it out.

Cindy, I will keep this on my back burner, it's really close to me. I usually just sweat it out at home working on projects in the summer!

I'm afraid that isn't a shopping weekend. We could try to go for July 4th weekend and then there will be 1st Monday shopping. Would that be better? It is hard to get reservations for that weekend, though.

Did this date change or cancel or something else? I just want to keep the calendar current and Scott was telling me it was this weekend so I wanted to check, I planned on swinging by since that's pretty close to me

HAH! OK cool, I'll take it off the calendar. This weekend is a Vintage Trailer Rally at the same resort if anyone wanted to drive out just to see the campers. I know I am going Sat and Scott and Gerri are as well.

In case anyone wanted to see what this place looks like, I took some pics from the trailer rally that was out there today. It was like a parking lot, no trees and just baking in the sun. I like camping in the trees like we do. It was still a nice resort with ponds and alot of neat stuff to do if you're into that. Here's a link to my photos from today, man I am sunburned!
