Yup, charcoal briquets definitely work. Matter of fact, all the cook books I've seen use specific numbers of briquets to control the temperature in the oven. :thumbsup: 8)

Of course, I can't afford any of those expensive ANTIQUE ovens like Dean is scanning the globe for, so I'll go with Camp Chef.

You can still buy Lodge they just quit making the 5"/
Also if you buy camp chef make sure your lids fit before you buy.
